Gaming for a cause? We've done so before and we're ready to make it even bigger and better again! The Video Game Society Squared and the SCSU along with many special campus and corporate partners are proud to bring an entire day filled with games and fun for the 2nd Annual Child's Play Charity on Thursday, November 27th (tentative)! The Child's Play Charity kicked off it's 2008 drive on November 6th. Child's Play is a grassroots charity run by gamers that benefits hospitalized children patients in North America and all over the world. Donations are distributed to hospitals which are then used to buy toys, games, books and even general costs

My friends and I have started a club at UTSC that focuses on rhythm-based games (ex. DDR, Guitar Hero and wii games).  We will be holding gaming nights that allow people to play all types of games with other members.  During the gaming nights we will have mini-tournaments and be providing water.  These events will probably only be open to members of UR^2.  UR^2 will also be having tournaments.  So far we are going to have DDR, In The Groove and Guitar Hero tournaments for sure.  We might have a Halo 3 and Super Smash Brothers Brawl tournament when those games come out.  Some of these tournaments will be open to the public, but most of the tou
